NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Titans CEO Jon Robinson issued a statement on Thursday that he will soon report to the training camp outside of Vic Beasley training camp.
Beasley missed the first two days of camp and didn̵7;t contact the team. The Titans placed Beasley on the Reserve / Don’t Report list on Tuesday.
“I’ve been in contact with Vic, he’s not here, he understands that his absence is unjustified, and he told me he would report to camp in the near future.”
Titans perform coronavirus tests on players before gaining access to the device, in addition to informing them of protocols due to a pandemic. The team is trying to get newcomers and new players to acclimatize to their building.
Since Beasley does not appear in time, he will be a little behind in the acclimatization process. However, Robinson said that when Beasley reports, he will undergo the same acclimatization process.
Tennessee signed Beasley’s one-year, $ 9.5 million contract in March. After leading the NFL in 2015 with 15.5 pockets and late last season with eight pockets for the Atlanta Falcons, Beasley was expected to play a key role in strengthening Titan’s pass.
