On Friday (July 31), Lil Wayne teamed up with her Young Money friends Gudd Gudd and Jay Jones for the latest video collective “Thug Life.”
Filmed in Wayne’s skate park, Weezy is in pure form and delivers high-ton rapeseed at a frenetic pace. “I want my baby pictures on a $ 100 bill / my lazy bit-hes to teach my crazy bit-hes how to cool,” he pulls. With a glass of polystyrene in his hand, he later accelerated his flow with a hypnotic rhythm before Jay Jones entered with his own compelling verse. Shortly afterwards, the rhythm switches and Gudd Gudd and Wayne start trading bars over the sinister sound stage.
Two weeks ago, Wayne closed his first season of Young Money Radio by talking to Birdman. They both talked about the possible continuation of their joint album from 2006 What a father such a son“I want it to be my farewell,”; Birdman Wayne said during their interview. Their first effort met with commercial success and won hits such as “Stuntin ‘Like My Daddy” and “Leather So Soft”.
After closing Wayne’s show Young Money Radio, which had previously interviewed Drake, 50 Cent, Migos, Nicki Minaj and others, Weezy greeted his fans for the mood.
“Thank you to everyone at the bottom of my heart for making this biggest debut the first season of any podcast or EVER radio show,” Wayne wrote grateful on Instagram.
