Photo with leak Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 shows a breakthrough

Samsung is preparing to unpack a number of new consumer technologies at the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event on August 5. Among the five devices to be featured at the event is Samsung’s new collapsible feature. It seemed to be called Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, instead of “Galaxy Fold 2” there is a lot of excitement around the device, because it represents a series of elaborate steps. Samsung now had several folding opportunities: first the Galaxy Fold, then the “fixed” version, then the Galaxy Z Flip and the newer Galaxy Z Flip 5G. Now the leaked photo will give us the first look at the massive Galaxy Z Fold 2 front.

This leaked photo of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 shows an internal view of the phone that actually folds around its center axis.

While there’s not much you can read with a quick glance in this photo, in addition to the new name on the introductory screen with the boot screen, you may notice a punch screen if you look very closely at it. Here’s a modified photo that better captures the punch:

As you can see now, the internal display on the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will have a single-hole front camera centered on the right half of the screen. The protective edge around the device no longer has an extension for the hole punch. This is a big change from the front cameras present on the first generation device, which had a distinctly unique notch setting, as shown below:

Previous reports have suggested the possibility of insufficient camera display in the Galaxy Z Fold 2, but this does not seem to be the case. This new device is expected to be equipped with a 7.7 ″ indoor display, a larger external display, plenty of RAM and storage, the latest processors, 5G features and will continue to exclude the S Pen. We should learn more in the coming days.
