Korn teamed up with YelaWolf and released a cover of Devil Charlie Daniels “The Devil Gone to Georgia”.
In the new rendition, frontman Jonathan Davis exchanges verses with YelaWolf as they take on the roles of “Devil” and “Johnny” in a classic story. “I’ve always said that, but country is one of the darkest in history,” Davis said in a statement. “Merle Haggard, Buck Owens and of course Charlie Daniels turned the pain into really loud music that sounded alive.” The Devil Went to Georgia “is a classic story, and now we wanted to release it to help others in need. “
All proceeds from the track will be donated to Awakening Youth, a non-profit organization that helps young people cope with the loss of a parent due to divorce, addiction, death, transfer for adoption and more.
