Google One backs up your iOS or Android device for free

Google One, a cloud storage service launched by Google in 2018, now backs up your iOS or Android phone for free with your Google Account. The iOS app will be able to back up your photos, videos, contacts, and calendar events and consolidate what various services, such as Photos and Drive, offer in one place. Office for Android remarks. An Android app that may have already backed up a variety of files from your phone will now offer backups without a Google One membership.

Along with backing up your files, Google One is being updated to make it easier to manage your saved files. This storage management feature is available from the app or the web and allows you to manage files stored from Drive, Gmail and Photos in one place.

The new storage manager will make it easier to find out which files take up space.

With a personal Google Account, you get 15 GB of storage for free (new features don’t support G Suite accounts), and Google offers paid storage programs that start at $ 1.99 per month, which is 100 GB of storage. Google claims that new features for Android will appear in the coming days and that a new application for iOS will be launched soon.
