Bangkok, Thailand – Apple today introduced Apple Central World, its second and largest retailer in Thailand. It is located in the heart of Ratchaprasong, an iconic crossroads in Bangkok. The store offers a whole new and accessible destination in a busy city.
Apple Central World’s distinctive architecture comes to life with the very first glass, which is placed under the Tree Canopy cantilever roof. Once inside, customers can travel between two levels via a spiral staircase that wraps around a wooden core, or ride on a unique mirror-plated stainless steel roller lift. Guests can enter from the ground or from a higher level, providing a direct connection to the Skytrain and the city’s largest shopping center. The outer square offers space for a gathering community, with spaces surrounding benches and large terminal trees.
“We are thrilled that visitors can discover this truly unique store in Ratchaprasong,”; said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of retail and people. “With our future today at Apple meetings and a phenomenal team ready to welcome the community with exceptional service and support, we can’t wait for our customers to experience Apple Central World.”
