The airline has been hit by a number of technical efforts in recent years. In August, when computer systems failed, British Airways was forced to cancel more than 100 flights.
In 2017, it canceled flights from London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports after a "severe IT system failure" caused severe disruption to its global operations and stuck 75,000 customers.
