LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WKBT) – The La Crosse County COVID-19 outbreaks and investigation site added five centers to the high-risk category and one to the low-risk group on Wednesday.
New high-risk sites and times of human exposure include:
• Iron Physique Gym in La Crosse, 7 am to 10 am July 16.
• Jimmy’s northern star in La Crosse, July 16-18.
• Starlight Lounge in La Crosse, July 6-7, July 30, July 16.
• Milwaukee Burger Company in La Crosse, July 22-23.
• Red lobster in La Crosse, July 22.
Those at high risk should complete the risk monitoring form and recommendation on the COVID-19 website.
New to the low-risk list is Boost Mobile in La Crosse from 4:30 pm to 4:00 pm on July 18.
The devices remain on the list for 14 days after the last known positive case has been present. Just because a device appears on a page doesn’t mean it did something wrong – nor does it appear on a page to mean that the device should close.
The La Crosse County Ministry of Health reported nine new cases confirmed by the laboratory on Wednesday, bringing the country to a total of 767. Of these, 650 cases are considered cured, five are hospitalized and one La Crosse resident has died.
The overall positive test represents 4.5%.
Today’s demographics are two women aged 30-39, three women aged 20-29, two women aged 20-29 and two women aged 60-69.
The Wisconsin Department of Health said 16,288 negative tests had been completed in La Crosse County, including 191 since Tuesday.
